POSITION SUMMARY:
Landscape Architecture & Graphics: Candidates considered for these roles will demonstrate both a desire and ability to take initiatives to foster our creative and unified work environment that serves to integrate landscape architectural design and graphics with our combined allied services. The work environment at Hole Montes will provide for and seek candidates to be teachers of their expertise with firm colleagues while demonstrating an equal allegiance to learning and sharpening their skill set. Your ability to demonstrate established procedures, produce a quality deliverable product, and to showcase outstanding client service on all projects will be expected.

Candidates must also aspire to independently assume multi-disciplinary related production and graphic responsibilities that includes the integration of Planning Exhibits, Professional Proposals, Public Presentations, the inclusion of 3D imagery, Master Plan Renderings, related artistic graphics into a variety of media, and CAD production. Other tasks may include assembling dynamic design packages (schematic through final) and to complete proposal and multiple discipline plan set presentations that includes a full range of design elements. Exceptional candidates will possess the abilities to conceive, project, and implement required work efforts noted above, and write creative project narratives and project approaches for presentations or Public Sector RFP/RFQ submittals.

Successful candidates for this position will report directly to the Firm’s VP of Landscape Architecture and Design. Growth potential into Leadership, Project Management, and/or 3D Graphics roles are anticipated.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Specific qualifications for the position include:

  • Candidates must have working experience with production through AutoCAD 2021.
  • The ability and desire to work in a team environment is a must.
  • Knowledge of landscape architectural design principals and Florida plant material is desired, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, and a commitment to work in a time accountable team environment with strong problem solving, analytical, and creative skills is a must.
  • Working experience with MS Office and Photoshop is essential. Working experience with InDesign (Adobe Suite) and PowerPoint is a plus.
  • The ability to work with 3D software environments like 3DMax, Revit, Sketchup, VRay, Lumion, and others is a plus.
  • Production and graphic experience in land development including design and presentations, planning hearings, and public meetings is a plus.
  • Candidates that have had exposure to marketing techniques and presentations, planning, engineering, and landscape architectural exhibits and design elements, and familiarity with media preparation is a plus.
  • The ability to participate in land planning and due diligence exercises, including occasional design charrettes/workshops is a plus.
  • Basic awareness of marketing principles and service promotion experience is a plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • BLA or higher degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Sciences, Urban Planning & Design, or Marketing and Communications is desired but not required.
  • Without a degree, at least 3-5 years of related work experience is necessary.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:

  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record in accordance the company’s driving (MVR) policy.
  • The ability to become licensed in landscape architecture is a plus, but not required.
